This is our story…
Hi, I’m Paige!
I'm Paige and am the founder of Inclusive Oak and have worked in the disability sector for over 14 years in many different roles. We are a proud neurodivergent family who have come embraced ourselves fully. My son, Oaklan was the first to be diagnosed as autistic at 2 and a half, ADHD at 4 and he also has an epilepsy diagnosis. In the years to follow my husband and daughter were both diagnosed AuDHD. I am also on my own self discovery journey and have recently been diagnosed with ADHD (Omg this explains sooo much of my life and thought patterns let me tell you haha).
My passion for the disability sector first developed when I volunteered at a camp for children with disabilities. 14 years have passed and my passion and enthusiasm for the sector continues to blossom.
After my son’s diagnosis’, I was shown a different side of the sector, one that gets forgotten. Once you are given a diagnosis for your child, you are sent on your way without any support. I want that to change. I want to be that person who supports you. Helps you gain the knowledge through education that you need. Connect with others who will make a positive change in your journey. And most importantly ensufe you feel part of a safe and Inclusive community.
At Inclusive Oak, we offer support through a thoughtfully designed membership called ‘EmpowerHer’. EmpowerHer was designed myself. Someone who truly gets it and has lived and breathed this journey for 6 years.
The EmpowerHer membership provides unique opportunities for you to form connections with others, be part of a supportive community and feel empowered by personal growth and education - exactly what I wished had been available to me on my journey.
Since finding a community, forming connections and gaining education I have felt like an empowered badass autism mama and I want to help you feel that way too.
To find out more about EmpowerHer please look through the ‘EmpowerHer’ page on this website.
I am humbled and excited to support you and your family through this journey, whilst creating an understanding, supportive community with those who get it, because trust me when I say, I get it mama.
If you have any questions, or just want to chat to someone who gets it please do not hesitate to contact me. I’d be honoured to welcome you into our community.
Peace and Love.
